
ABOUT SAYA
Saya is an award-winning actress and director based in Los Angeles, CA, and Phoenix, AZ, with a passion for telling meaningful, emotionally impactful stories. She has starred in multiple projects, and her directorial debut, Elementary Wake Up, was selected by several festivals, including the Seattle International Film Festival. Since then, she has continued to direct and star in projects, including In The Backseat, which has received over 219,000 views on YouTube.
Saya is half Japanese and half Scottish, and her ethnically ambiguous appearance often sparks curiosity—people have guessed everything from Latina and Caucasian to Native American. She embraces this versatility, which allows her to authentically step into a wide range of roles.
She’s trained extensively for over seven years with respected acting coaches, including Tom Todoroff and Matthew Dearing, and spent three years performing with the improv troupe Chaos Comedy. Her artistic roots began in music, with five years of vocal training and a continuing love for performance.
Outside of acting and filmmaking, Saya enjoys studying new languages, playing instruments, and staying active through sports. Her wide range of interests fuels her creativity and brings depth to her work as a storyteller.
